Welcome to the May and September Resources Page. I’ll be using this page a stable place to list materials on topics that I touch on in my posts.

Managing Multiple Interests

Theres lots of interesting work being done to recognise people with multiple interests. Here are a few of the authors that I have found helpful:

Margaret Lobenstine writes about managing multiple intersts in  her book The Renaissance Soul: Live Design for People with Too Many Passions to Pick Just One and on her website Get Unstuck.

Ian Sanders and David Sloly write about using multiple skills in their book Mash Up!: How to Use Your Multiple Skills to Give You and Edge, Make Money and be Happier.

Barbara Sher coined the term “Scanner” to describe people with multiple interests. Check out her ideas in Refuse to Choose: Use All of Your Interests, Passions and Hobbies to Create the Life and Career of Your Dreams.

Emilie Wapnick explains her take on multi-potentiality at her website Puttylike.
